Oh, let me tell you, I'm absolutely done with this whole “taking responsibility” nonsense. Seriously, who came up with that idea? It’s like an evil joke—one where I'm the punchline! I mean, I’ve invested countless hours, dollars, and all sorts of questionable life choices in workshops, courses, and physical activities that were supposed to teach me how to “take accountability” for my life. And guess what I got in return? A big old’ slap in the booty with this little nugget realization: “Oh, wait—I’ve always taken responsibility for my own actions. The issue is no one told me I’m also supposed to take responsibility for all the nonsense other people do too!” Wait, What?!
So here I am, proudly walking around like I just earned first place for surviving the “Party of one Olympics” when all along I didn’t even know the rules of the game. I mean, who signed me up for this? Oh, wait—I did—by choosing to hang out with certain people, go to specific places, and get tangled up in these things called "circumstances." Classic mistake, right?
And here’s the kicker—this whole “taking responsibility” gig has given me the greatest party favor of all: anxiety! And now I get to carry the fear of being overwhelmed, rejected, judged, and let’s not forget the extra helping of control issues and fear of confrontation. Yay me! And let’s talk about the ultimate lie we’ve all been sold: that by doing this noble thing for the “greater good,” somehow, poof, we’ll magically become the best versions of ourselves: but oh yeah, You’re already perfect, whole, and complete.
Wake up, folks! Stop trying so hard to align with your “inner mighty wizard”—because guess what? You’re already the magic. The real treasure was in your heart the whole time, and it wasn’t on the yellow brick road. So quit trying so hard—you're already a badass wizard just by being you!
