Here’s something to chew on: You’ve never actually failed. Ever. What if failure is just the universe’s way of handing you a backstage pass to freedom? Seriously, why do we fear failure? According to the traditional rulebook, failure is simply not succeeding, forgetting to do what you were supposed to do, or not working the way you were designed Yet, countless people have face planted into oblivion, take a deep dive only to land on their FUPA, made a situation into a garbage fest, and still managed their way into success. I could name a few people in authority but I going to keep it light.
I have the awesome opportunity to connect with people and discovered that what most people really want is freedom. But what does freedom even mean? Well, apparently, it’s the magical power to do, say, or think whatever you want, without being chained down by rules and obligations of societal norms, However, when we decided we want freedom and give ourselves the permission to do so, we to get push back from the physical body in the form of bubble guts, swamp booty and puddle pits, yet, freedom screams back at you like lyrics from Bob Marley's "Get up Stand up, Don't give up the fight".
Now, here’s the fun part: Failure, in this context, is NOT the "CUCO" monster hiding under your bed. It's more like your goofball, sightly annoying, but ultimately helpful wingman. Failure is actually a tool to help you level up, grow stronger, and figure out who you are deep down (spoiler alert: you’re mind-blowing phenomenal). Mistakes and setbacks? Nah, they’re not failures—they’re part of the wild rollercoaster ride we call “life.” In fact, thinking of failure as a stop sign is a bit of a cop-out. We’ve all been brainwashed into believing that perfection is the end goal, and anything less is a trainwreck. Spoiler: It’s not.
But hey, refusing to try anything new in the name of “safety” is pretty much just insanity, right? After all, didn’t Einstein say, “Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results”? So, yeah, if you keep doing the same thing over and over and expecting your life to magically improve... well, you might just be the next candidate to run for president of Nutville in the country of good old Whack-Tucky! Enjoy!
